Toome club notes

July 29, 2015

Seniors: Well done to the Senior team on a brilliant win on Sunday, defeating neighbours Oram on a scoreline of 3-10 to 0-8. We meet Killeevan on the weekend of 14th-16th of August, with the winner progressing to the championship semi finals. Next game up is Seans in the league, next Wednesday (05/08) at 7:30pm in Threemilehouse.

Minors: Hard luck to the minors, who were beaten by 2-12 to 1-10 in the championship semi final by Emyvale on Tuesday night. Missing our star forward James Wilson through injury, we were up against it. It was tight throughout, and the lads have a league semi final to look forward to.

Under 16s: For the second year in a row, our under 16s have made the championship final! We beat Rockcorry by 5-12 to 3-12 last Thursday night in Toome in a highly entertaining encounter. The final is fixed for Thursady 27th August, and our opponents are Patrick Emmets. Our next league game is Thursday 6th August away to Seans, where a win will guarantee us a semi final spot.

Under 14s: Our away game against Truagh is refixed for Tuesday 11th August and we face Emyvale that Thursday night away also.

Under 12s: Hard luck to the under 12s who were beaten by a more experienced Drumhowan side on Monday evening in the semi final. We played very well however and the youngsters should be very proud of their efforts.
