Senior League

This Saturday we are away to the Harps at 7pm.
On Wednesday, 3rd June we are at home to Magheracloone at 8pm. On Saturday, 6th June we have Blayney at home at 7pm.
On Sunday, 14th June we have Ballybay at home in a Star Game at 2pm.

Reserve League
Clontibret 4-17, Cremartin 0-10. A depleted side performed very well to overcome Cremartin last week.
On Wednesday, 10th June we are away to Scotstown at 8pm.
On Saturday, 20th June we are away to Truagh at 7pm.

Minor League
Best wishes to all our players who are undertaking exams in the coming weeks.

U16
Clontibret 3-10, Blayney 5-5. We lost narrowly to Blayney in a high-scoring game last week.
We have a break now until July.

U14 Championship & League
Clontibret 7-8, Seans 6-8. The boys really left it late in the opening round of the championship last Saturday, with a last-minute goal clenching victory to secure a place in the next round. Well done to the team on a great performance.
We played Cremartin on Tuesday, result next week.
We are away to the Harps in the league on Saturday, 13th June at 12pm.

U12
We play Seans on Saturday in Clontibret at 12pm. All players are to be at the field for 11.20am.

U10
Training on Wednesday at 6pm.

U8
Training on Saturday at 10am.

U6
Training on Friday at 6.30pm.

Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to Packie and the McNally family, Coolartra, on the recent death of Teresa. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Camogie
Well after an 'embarrassment of riches' last week it's a bit of a famine this week with the exam period dictating that many underage matches are put on hold until mid - June. Our seniors however meet Castleblayney twice this week in both the Monaghan and Armagh Leagues - Wednesday and Sunday (home) so we wish them well. The Castleblayney match concludes the first round of Armagh League matches so on Wed June 10 we commence Round 2, with an away match to Derrynoose.
On Friday evening the girls (and lads!) have planned a 'pizza evening' in the club rooms, after training, and hopefully the prospects of a mouth-watering treat won't distract too much from training!
Training continues for the U-12/U-14 group each Thursday evening at 5.30, followed by U-14/U-16 training at 6.30pm.
On Saturday the U-12 Mini-League starts in Armagh and Marie will be in contact with parents as soon as venues and times have been confirmed by the Armagh Board.
A primary school blitz, for both camógs and hurlers, is scheduled for Thursday June 4th from 11.00am - 1pm in Cloghan. These 'joint' blitzes are proving hugely popular and hopefully Scoil Mhuire will have a strong representation in both codes.
This week Clontibret GAA Club launched  'Clontibret - Our  Future' campaign which aims to garner sufficient funds to develop land purchased some years ago, to more effectively serve ...'our children, our teams, our volunteers, our supporters and our community'. While the club has lodged funding applications to a number of statutory agencies, criteria from these bodies requires that a certain percentage of funds must be raised by the club/community. The initiative launched this week seeks an annual subscription of €240, payable on a monthly/quarterly/half-yearly or annual basis, by direct debit or cheque. Club members will be visiting homes and businesses in the coming weeks as well as enlisting the assistance of hurlers, senior camogie players and senior ladies footballers.
