Doohamlet GFC club notes

May 25, 2015

Doohamlet v Rockcorry:
Our reserves travelled to rockcorry on Wednesday last. Having beaten them in the championship a week earlier we had to do battle again in the league. This was  a good all round solid performance by Doohamlet having dominated all quaters. Fine scores by Barry Mc Bennett, Ollie Hughes  and Shane Mc Manus left us witha comfortable lead at half time, the second half was a similar situation with Doohamlet hitting some fine scores. Further scores by Ollie Hughes, Barry Mc Bennett and Jack ingram gave Doohamlet a comfortable win.

Doohamlet v Donaghmoyne:

The reserves hosted Donaghmoyne on Saturday in the Championship. We got an excellent start with a goal and a point in the opening stages. Donaghmoyne got to grips with the game and took control of midfield and we really struggled to get a foot hold in the game again. Donaghmoyne went  in at half time 3-10 to Doohamlet 1-2 the second half was a mirror image of the first half where Donaghmoyne dominated again, they eventually ran out comfortable winners.

U16,s lost to Kilkanny on Thursday last.
