However nothing went right  and a free from Colm Lambe in the 21st minute of the second half was the  only score Drumhowan got while Doohamlet kicked another 4 points to leave the full time score Drumhowan 0 -5 Doohamlet 0-11 Team and Scorers Enda Duffy, Barry Mc Guirk, Dermot Mooney, Paddy Mulligan, Niall Mooney, Liam Mc Guirk, Darren Duffy 0-1, Ciaran Duffy, JP O Neill, Kevin Mooney, Aidan Duffy, Colm Lambe 0-3 (2f) , Michael Atkinson, Kieran Mooney, David Millar 0-1, Subs -1st half Owen Quinn for Michael Atkinson 2nd half Kieran Mc Elroy for Ciarán Duffy  Next game in the competition will be on Sunday 31st May  when Drumhowan will take on Tyholland away in what definitely will be a must win game.

After a slow start the team got going in the 2nd half and pulled away to win on a full time scoreline St. Patrick's 1-13 Clontibret 0-5. They have now qualified for the cup competition which will commence in July. Good luck to all members of the panel who are part of the minor squad who take on Cavan in the UMFC this Sunday.

The final game before the exam break takes place this Thursday 21st of May and is a bottom of the table clash away to Donaghmoyne at 7.30pm.

Gerry's Prepared Veg U14 Div 2  - Drumhowan  make the journey to Truagh on Tuesday evening next 26th of May for a 7.30pm start. All players should be in Truagh for 7pm. The boys had a useful run out against Ballybay during the week.

Gerry's Prepared Veg U12  Div 2 :  Drumhowan  7-5 Toome  2-4  . We had Toome as visitors to Mc Keown Park on Monday evening last the 18th of May for the first game in the Summer League on an evening that was more like Winter. Played in torrential rain and in bitterly cold conditions Drumhowan made a good start in the first ten minutes to take a good lead they kept throughout the rest of the match. The second half was a scrappy affair as both teams tired in the conditions and both sides ran in a number of subs. So a winning start but much improvement needed in the coming weeks. Next up is a tough away fixture to Truagh possibly now on the Bank Holiday Monday.

Under 10-  It's a busy week for this squad as they have 2 games. First up on this Thursday evening we host Monaghan Harps in Drumhowan for a 7pm start. All players should be at Páirc Mhic Eoin for 6.45pm.  Then on Saturday morning it's off to Rockcorry for the second Go Games Blitz of the season. This Blitz commences at 9.30am so all players should be in Rockcorry for 9.10am and it will finish around 11.20. So it's off to bed early on Friday night to be ready  with a good night's sleep.

Under 6/8  Training continues on Monday evenings at 7pm.
