DR WARD CUP: A mixed week for our senior a disappointing performance at home in Toome in which we conceded some soft scores in the first half saw us suffer a 4.09 to 0.12 defeat, we travelled to Aghabog on Sunday and in a game a game of the proverbial two half's we recovered from a nine point deficit to win by the narrowest of margins in a brilliant second half comeback to gain two valuable ward cup points. We are at home to Rockcorry on bank holiday Monday at 3,30.

MINORS: Lost to Blayney by four points in a highly competitive and entertaining encounter, home game next Tuesday at 7.30

 


UP FOR THE MATCH: The club are delighted to announce that our major fundraiser for 2015 is an Up for The Match Ulster championship preview night on the 16th May, we have secured the services of well known RTE broadcaster Marty Morrisey to MC the event which will include some of the biggest names in Ulster football and beyond, a number of well known GAA pundits have already confirmed there attendances, tickets are priced at £15, we are also seeking sponsors on the night. Confirmed guests include Seanie Johnson(Cavan) Oisin Mc Conville (Armagh) Mattie Mc Glennan(Tyrone)  Ronan Gallagher( Fermanagh) Ross Carr(Down). The club are seeking sponsors for the night and have contacted local business, to help with our repayments on loans on development.
