Monaghan footballer Conor McManus has been handed the GAA's Footballer of the Week award.

McManus picked up the award having given a man of the match display against Dublin in last Sunday's NFL semi-final at Croke Park.

The Monaghan captain took the award ahead of Cork's Fintan Goold and Donegal's Michael Murphy as he becomes the third player for the county to receive the accolade.
