Platinum Tanks RFL Div 2 A - Our reserve team suffered another heavy defeat against Rockcorry last Thursday when the  visitors came away with the 2 points on a full time score Drumhowan  0 -7 Rockorry 2 - 16. Next game in this competition is an away one to Doohamlet on Wednesday 6th May.

Monaghan Electrical IFL - with Monaghan finished their Allianz League Campaign the seniors games will now be coming thick and fast. Last night, Wednesday  the 15th of April we took on Cremartin in Páirc Mhic Eoin. On Saturday 18th we have an away trip to  Carrick with a throw in at 7pm. Then  on Wednesday 22nd  Currin are the visitors to Drumhowan at 7.30pm.

Minor Football League Division 1 - Last Tuesday the 7th of April St Patrick's had a good victory on a full time scoreline of St. Patrick's  7 - 17 to Carrick's 3 - 8 On Tuesday the 14th of April they took on Scotstown away from home and then on Tuesday the 21st of April there is a bye scheduled.

Gerry's Prepared Veg U16 Div 1  - Last Thursday the U16s commenced their league campaign with an away loss to Scotstown on  a scoreline Scotstown 5 - 9 St.Patrick's 2-5 This Thursday the 16tb of April the U16s will take on Carrick in Ballybay.

Gerry's Prepared Veg Under 14 - Next game is against Donaghmoyne on the Saturday 9th May. Training continues on Monday and Thursdays at 7pm.

Gerry's Prepared Veg Under 12 Spring League. We have a home game against Clontibret this Saturday at 2pm. Again we would encourage all club members and supporters to come out and support the team. The first two games have both been exciting high scoring affairs with not a sign of a blanket defence in sight.

Go Games - We travelled to Sean Mc Dermotts to take part in a well ran Under 10 and Under 8 Double Blitz on Saturday morning last. Other teams part-taking on the day were Seans, Ballybay and Rockcorry. We fielded an Under 10 side and two Under 8 teams with both sides performing well in the cold windy conditions. Our Under 10 panel was  Johnathan Lavelle, Tristan Duffy, Jason Clarke, Killian Mc Adam, Tiernan Reilly, Conor Curran, Tom Doherty, Conor Quinn and Oisin Mc Elroy. Again our Under 8 panel are showing good improvement from last season as the basic skills continue to improve. Our Under 8 Panel was , Martin Quinn, Eanna Curran, Eoin Sheridan, Finnian O Neill, Jerome Lavelle, Katie Mc Adam , Tara Reilly, Evan Treanor, Caolan Treanor, Cian Mc Adam, Darragh Mc Adam, Francis Conlan, Andrea Quinn, Oisin Quinn and Niamh Duffy. The next blitz takes place in the middle of May In Rockcorry. Hopefully we will have a challenge game before then. Training continues on Monday evenings at 7pm. Remember to keep practicing the skills at home. There are some good action photographs of the Under 8 game on the Rockcorry website.

Topaz Cash for Clubs - Drumhowan are now registered for this initiative. Our registration number is 11137. When you fill up at any Topaz station please ask for a card that will be stamped every time you receive €40 worth of fuel. We have to the 10th of May to collect 300 cards. Lets get going. Get your families and friends involved. Keep collecting cards and when you have a few filled please return them to Topaz , Blayney or to PRO Noel. Closing date is the 10th of May.

Well done to Eimear Quinn who played in Croke Park on Sunday last at half time in the Monaghan v Dublin game. Eimear is a very dedicated and committed member of our Under 12 team.
