Platinum Tanks RFL Div 2A -  Last Sunday 15th of March the Bs suffered a heavy defeat  to Donaghmoyne in Páirc Mhic Eoin  with the Full Time Score of Drumhowan 0 - 5 Donaghmoyne 2-15.  Then on St Patrick's  17th they took on Éire Óg in Smithborough. Please check social media for a result. Next game for this team is Sunday 29th of March when the opposition is Sean Mc Dermotts, in Drumhowan  at 2pm


Monaghan Electrical IFL  - The Seniors commence their Intermediate League Campaign when they take on Clones away from home this Sunday 22nd March at 2pm. Good luck to all the players and mangement.


Mc Elevaney Recycling MFL Div 1 -Last Saturday the 14th St. Patrick's took on  Seán Mc Dermotts in  Drumhowan. After a very tight and exciting contest St. Patrick's emerged victorious on a full time score of St. Patrick's 3-11 Seán Mc Dermotts 3 - 10.  Next game for this team is back to the usual night  of Tuesday but not to the 31st of March when they make the long journey to Magheracloone.


Under 16 -  St Patrick's training has commenced Best of luck to the players and management team of Thomas Mc Skeane and Francis Mc Mahon in the season ahead. The first league game is scheduled for Thursday April 9th.

Under 14 -This team began their Div 2 campaign last Saturday the 14th of March in Toome when they took on Clann na Gael - a Toome/ Oram combination, After an entertaining game the home team scored a goal deep, deep into injury time to win on a full time sore of  Clann na Gael 1- 11 Drumhowan 2- 6. Next game for this age group is on Saturday 28th March when they take on Emyvale at home at 2pm.

Under 12  -  This team have their first game in the Spring League on this Saturday21st March in Clones at 2pm. All players are to be in Clones for 1.15pm and can parents organise to share lifts over and back. All players must wear gumshields as the no gumshield no game rule will be strictly enforced. Please also wear the proper club togs and socks. Best of luck to this panel of players and management as they start their season. We had a useful run out against Aughnamullen on Monday evening in preparation for Saturday. Thanks to Aughnamullen for a sporting well contested game and to our own club referee Patrick Duffy who kept firm control on proceedings.

Under 10 - Training continues on Monday and Thursday evenings. Go Games for this group will commence in early April.


Under 6-8 -   Training continues on Saturday evenings from 4 - 5pm for these ages. We had a great turnout at our second session on Saturday last. All players and any new ones aged 5 and over are very welcome. Just come along and fill out a Registration form. Wrap up well and take both boots and runners. Remember all players are to practice their catching and kicking skills at home this week in preparation for next Saturday's training session.

Congratulations to Duanna Mc Ardle and  Rory O' Neill who got married recently. We wish both of them many years of happiness. Rumour has Rory is taking over from John Mc Ardle as one of the club's referees. Are transfer forms needed for a referee??

Topaz Cash for Clubs - Drumhowan are now registered for this initiative. Our registration number is 11137. When you fill up at any Topaz station please ask for a card that will be stamped every time you receive €40 worth of fuel. We have to the 10th of May to collect 300 cards. Lets get going. Get your families and friends involved. Keep collecting cards and when you have a few filled please return them to Topaz , Blayney or to PRO Noel. Closing date is the 10th of May.

First Aid Course - A course will take place in the community centre next Wednesday 25th  March at 7pm. It is essential that all management of teams attend. Further details from club chairman Martin Mc Elearney.
