Sympathy
The club extends sympathy to the Coyle family on the death of Maurice on Monday evening. Maurice was a former player and lifelong supporter of the team. He will be sorely missed.
Sympathy is also extended to Rodney and the Gorman family on the death of Pat Gorman, Ballybay.
Finally, sympathy is extended to the Winters family on the death of Paddy, a promising young player with the club before he emigrated to England more than forty years ago.

Camogie
Congratulations to the Clontibret camogie players who are part of the Monaghan county minor team that qualified for the Ulster Shield final v Tyrone on Sunday, Mar 8. This followed their defeat of Donegal on Saturday last, in atrocious weather conditions. Our representatives include: Shauna McKeever (Capt), Sorcha and Cliona McDonald, Éimear McKenna, Emily Madden, Melinda McCague, Ríoghnach Duffy, Chloe McGuigan, Sioneen Morgan, Niamh Kieran and Sinead Mohan. We wish the team every good wish in Sundays final. Venue and time TBC.
Many thanks to the parents for their generosity and help on Saturday last when they provided very welcome refreshments for both teams after the match.
A request has been received from the organisers of the St Patricks Day parade in Monaghan Town for the Club to participate in this year's parade. Parents who would like their children to be involved should contact Marie or Geraldine asap.
Training for the Senior panel returns this evening to the Thurs night slot in the Community Centre at 8pm, while the primary school children will train from 5.30 - 6.30. On Monday evening second level students and 6th class pupils will train from 6.30 - 7.30pm.
