Sympathy: The very sad news of young Aodhán Cumiskey's passing at a very young age brought sadness to the Toome community this week. Aodhán's father Donal played for Toome for many years until he relocated to England, where he settled with his wife Sarah, while his grandfather Gene, is a former Toome chairman. Our deepest sympathy lie with Donal, Sarah and their family circle at this time. Deepest sympathy is extended also to Fr Pat Mc Hugh on the death of his father James.

Club Membership: Is now due, please note that membership fees must be paid before games commence. Adult €80, Student €20, Family €80.

Referee Recruitment: Trainee Referee Foundation Course will commence on Friday 6th March at Cloghan for new referees. Anybody from the club interested is asked to contact a committee member or John Mullen, Referees Administrator.

Best of Luck: To Ryan Murphy, Daniel Friskey, James Wilson, Frank Connolly & John Gorman as they play for Our Lady's Castleblayney in the Danske Bank MacLarnon Cup semi-final this Saturday in St Pauls Lurgan at 12pm.

Coaching: For anyone interested in training as a coach, there are foundation level coaching courses running on three separate dates in March.  Please contact Irene or Ciaran for further information. Anyone who wishes to get involved in coaching or helping out with juvenile football this year would be most welcome, as more help is needed.

Fixtures: The fixtures are out for the Senior Team, Reserves and Minors. Juvenile fixtures will be finalised this week. Reserves start at home to Clones at 4:15pm on Saturday 7th March and we host Killeevan on Sunday 15th March at 12pm. The Senior team's season commnces on Sunday 22nd March at home to Killanny. The Minors division 2 campaign starts on Tuesday 31st March at home to Cremartin.

Under 16s: Start date is Thursday 9th April.

Under 14s: This league starts on Saturday 14th March, with the championship commencing on Thursday 2nd April.

Under 13 Blitz  - An Under 13 Blitz takes place in Cloghan on Thursday 12th March at 7pm.

Under 12: Spring league starts on Saturday 21st March at 2pm. Spring league finals day is Saturday May 2nd.

Astroturf: The Astroturf is very busy in the evenings, however we'll accomodate anyone. Contact Louis McDonnell for bookings - 087 6503826.
