TONY CARVILLE. To be regarded as having achieved legendary status in one's own lifetime is a privilege that is reserved for the very few but it is a status that can certainly be applied to the great Tony Carville whose playing career at club and county level spanned all of two decades. The youngest of three Mullyash brothers, Noel and Jimmy being the other two, and they also represented Castleblayney with distinction, Tony carved out for himself a very special niche for himself at club and County level.

EAMONN MC ALEER. As a defender his name is still spoken of in revered tones such was the reputation he carved out for himself at club and County level. First came to the notice of the club selectors at the tender age of 14 where he won a juvenile award and went on to add under 16 and minor championship medals, the latter in 1961, by which stage he had been drafted onto the club's senior team making his senior debut prior to his 15th birthday.
