SCOR NA nOG ULSTER SEMI FINAL.
This Saturday evening, December 13th sees the first Ulster semi final in Scorn a nOg taking place in Corcaghan Community Centre where the winners from Monaghan, Cavan and Tyrone will battle it out for a place in the provincial final. Drumhowan lead the Monaghan charge with participants in five of the disciplines with Scotstown, Truagh Gaels and Monaghan Harps completing the Monaghan line up:
Rince Foirne: Drumhowan.
Amhrânaocht Aonair: Scotstown (Catriona Sherlock)
Aithriseoireacht: Drumhowan. (Patrick Duffy)
Ceol Uirlise: Drumhowan
Léiriú: Monaghan Harps
Bailéad Ghrúpa: Trúagh Gaels
Rince Seit: Drumhowan
Tráth na gCeist: Drumhowan.
This will be a first official outing for the newly elected Monaghan Oifigeach Cultura agus Gaeilge, Breda McCooey and Breda wants it emphasised that proceedings will be starting promptly at 7.00pm.
