AGM: Our AGM was held on Sunday 30th November. Our Secretary Damien Murphy gave a thorough run down of events of the year. He paid tribute in particular to our club referees Ciaran Mulligan who took charge of the Senior League Final, to Aaron Gallagher and to Fergal O'Hanlon who has recently taken up the whistle. Damien also thanked everybody who supported the clubhouse during the year for hosting birthday parties and events. In particular, he thanked the Gun Club and the Rally Club for using our facilities. Our Youth Officer, James McLeod gave an excellent report on the state of the club at underage level. In 2014, Aghabog competed in all competitions at Juvenile Level ranging from U8 through to Minor. We reached 5 finals with the U12s claiming the Shield title while our U14s and U16s were runners up in both league and championship.  James also thanked Dermot Brady who led Latnamard NS to success in the Cumann na mBunscoil competition. He thanked all the underage mentors and encouraged more people to get involved in working with our underage teams and also thanked the Club and Gallagher's shop for sponsoring training tops and bags. Our Cultural Officer, Pat Conway, said the club were well represented in Spraoi Scor and Scor na nOg but unfortunately we did not compete in Senior Scor. Our Club Treasurer, John Connolly, gave a very detailed breakdown of the club finances. The club was absolutely delighted that we had three local Lotto winners in the past 12 months and it remains our main source of income, albeit down from last year. John encouraged more people to get involved in selling Lottos and in particular our Players as there had been a fall off in the Player Lotto sales in later months of the year. What many people don't realise is the huge expense it takes to keep our club and clubhouse running however every penny was accounted for in John's report. John thanked our members for the commitment, co-operation and support they show the club and it is because of this support that the club has been able to clear our loan of €110,000 towards our new field development with the Credit Union ahead of the schedule. Chairman, Tony McGorman, gave his address. While it had been a disappointing year at Senior Level, Tony praised the club's underage teams and said the future was bright.  Tony thanked all the club officers for their support over the past 12 months and in particular he thanked Damien and Amy for working tirelessly in the clubhouse. Tony was delighted that the club had received €70,000 under the Sports Capital Programme towards our new field development and he said the plan was for work to proceed in April 2015. He thanked Damien Hagan for chairing the Boogie in the Bog Committee and hoped more people would get involved with helping out in 2015. Tony paid tribute to the late Lorcan Kelly and he said that the 24th October had been a very sad day for all associated with Aghabog GFC. The election of officers saw the following elected:
Chairperson: Tony McGorman
Assistant Chairperson: Paddy Reilly
Secretary: Damien Murphy
