Ulster Intermediate Quarter Final
Our Quarter final tie against Cootehill is part of a double header bill in Clones this Sunday at 12.45. We face stern opposition in the Cavan outfit, so the lads will have to be flying on all cylinders to turn them over.
If we bring the same kind of support to Clones as we had in Clontibret, then anything is possible. Let's turn Clones red and green.

Intermediate Football League
We finished top of the pile after 18 rounds in the Intermediate football league after a hard fought 3-15 to 2-14 win over neighbours Carrickmacross last Sunday in Pairc Grattan.
Our Boys played with a first half Gale and went in at the break with a 12 point lead, however Carrick answered back early in the second half with 2 quick goals.
However they never quite could get within 4 points as we kept tagging on vital scores at various intervals to keep them at arm's length.
Elsewhere, games where ebbing and flowing at other venues around Monaghan, and it looked like a home semi final against Clones until they equalized at the death in Corduff.
This draw meant that our win secured top place in the league with a home semi final against none other but our local rivals Donaghmoyne.
It's a repeat of the Championship final fixture and again promises to be a cracker in front of a packed Paddy O'Rourke Stand.
Official Time and dates yet to be announced.

BEREAVMENT:
We extend our sincere sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of the Late Michael Hoey, Carrickcarnon, Ravensdale, Dundalk.
Michael (formally of Drumlusty, Inniskeen) played for the Grattan's in the 1950 & 60's and was part of the winning Owen ward team in 1958. He was also inducted into the Inniskeen hall of fame in 2011.
