Corduff club notes

U6 / U8 / U10
The U6s, U8s & U10s close out the year this Saturday in Corduff. The U6 and U8 teams will play challenge matches while the U10s compete in the last blitz of the year against teams from Inniskeen, Oram, Carrickmacross & Aughnamullen. The first games in Corduff throw in at 10.00am.
The U6, U8 & U10 mentors would like to thank all the boys and girls for their hard work in 2014 and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2015.
Championship Fever : Both the Minor and Senior men are in Championship action this weekend as follows:
Minors:
The Minors are  busy preparing for the Division 3 Championship Final against Latton which is this Sunday 28th of September in Inniskeen at 2pm. We wish the players, Adrian Burns and his backroom team good luck in this encounter .Please turn out and support the team on the day.
Seniors: We have reached the business end of the 2014 football season and Corduff Senior men play Inniskeen in the Mc Guigan Builders Intermediate Championship this Saturday in Castleblayney. Corduff have being showing good form of late and we hope the winning momentum will continue. Captain Gerry Mee will lead his team on Saturday in what promises to be a close encounter. We wish the team, Manager Seamus McEnaney and his backroom team good luck. The Club is calling on all supporters to make the short trip to Castleblayney on Saturday to support the team. Throw in is at 1:30pm. This is a double header with the Corduff  Inniskeen match the curtain raiser. Nothing beats being there!
Ladies:
All Ireland 7's:
The Senior Ladies are playing in The Tesco Homegrown All Ireland Club 7's on Saturday. The 7's are the traditional beginning of the TG4 All Ireland Ladies Weekend. The Tournament takes place in Portmarnock and attracts the cream of the Ladies Football crop. We wish everyone involved good luck.
Cake Sale:
A massive thank you to everyone who helped out in any way with the Cake Sale last Sunday. It was a huge success with all monies raised going directly towards the running of the club. Thanks to those who baked tasty delights, to those who helped on the day, to those who generously supported the cake sale by buying cakes/making a donation and a special thanks to Laurence Jones and the staff of Corcreagh N.S. for the use of their facilities.
