Senior League: Our seniors played Clontibret on Sunday. The first half was tight the whole way through. We opened the scoring with a Barry McGinn free and Clontibret  answered  back with 3 unanswered points  and for us two fine points from Barry Mc Ginn and another point from Conor Marray put us a point ahead, further points by Steven Gilsenan and Mc Ginn left the half time score Doohamlet 0-6, Clontibret 0-7. The second half started with a Conor Marray point and another by Barry Mc Ginn left us a point behind, but this game really changed between the 40th and 50th minute with Clontibret scoring 1-6 in comparision to us scoring 2 points by Mc Ginn. The final 10 minutes Mc Ginn scored another 2 points and Clontibret ran out winners on a scoreline of 0-12 to 1-17 Team: James Casey, Jason Mc Elroy, Damien Ward, Martin Hughes, Darren Connolly, Ciaran Mc Manus, Steven Gilsenan, Emmet Mc Manus, Naill Connolly, Kevin Mc Ardle, Mark Murphy Barry Mc ginn, Conor Marray. Subs used Ollie Hughes for Emmet Mc Manus, Barry Mc Bennett for Steven Gilsenan, Jamie Walshe for Kevin Mc Ardle, Christopher Boylan for Gaby Casey, Micheal Marray for Mark Murphy.

Lorcan Duffy Memorial Annual Inter Club challenge/classic takes place this year in Mannan Castle Golf Club on Friday 19th September. €140 per team of 4. Money raised is shared between Doohamlet GFC and SOSAD.
