Intermediate Championship: A large contingent of Emyvale supporters travelled to Inniskeen last week to see Emyvale take on Tyholland in the replay of the Intermediate Championship in Scotstown. Emyvale got off to the perfect start scoring a goal & four points without reply. Tyholland found their rhythm and narrowed the gap but Emyvale drove on & led 1:10 - 0:8 at halftime. They continued on with attacking play in the second half & won 2:17 - 0:12 with a great all round performance. Then on Sunday last Emyvale played Donaghmoyne in Castleblayney. Emyvale once again got off to a great start scoring four unanswered points but then Donaghmoyne scored a fortuitous goal & they took control of the game. Emyvale clawed their way back into it during the second half and were unlucky not to have snatched a draw but it was a big ask for the Emyvale lads to play three tough games in a week & the tired legs were evident. It finished Donaghmoyne 2:12 Emyvale 2:10. Skills Competition: Martin O'Brien has been working tirelessly over the past few weeks putting the ladies & men, girls & boys' team through the skills competitions. A date will be set shortly for the finals when three representatives from each age group will compete to see who will be crowned the most skilful male & female in the club so watch this space for more details.

Juvenile Fixtures: U12's play in Div1A (Coyle Cup) final this Saturday in Castleblayney at 2pm. All support welcome.
