"Dublin is a financial juggernaut, almost impossible to stop"

Former Meath manager Seamus McEnaney.

Seamus McEnaney believes Dublin's financial muscle means they are going to be very hard to stop.

With moves apparently afoot to reduce the amount of money being allocated to funding coaching in the capital, the former Monaghan manager echoes the sentiments of Donegal boss Jim McGuinness when he says the Dubs have a massive advantage over everybody else:

"Dublin is a financial juggernaut, almost impossible to stop," the Corduff clubman says in The Irish News. "In my opinion, they have 20 times a better chance of winning the All-Ireland than Monaghan has.

"Sponsorship-wise, they can get €4 or €5m, whereas Monaghan would gather up €200,000 sponsorship.

"Most of the Dublin players don't work in full-time jobs, so this is a professional juggernaut on the runway that is going to be very hard to stop."
