Monaghan manager Seamus McEnaney
Seamus McEnaney intends to return to intercounty management before the end of 2015.

The former Monaghan and Meath boss, who is currently concentrating on managing his local Corduff club, refused to be drawn on the possibility of succeeding James McCartan as Down supremo:

"It is my intention to get involved in the intercounty scene again over the next twelve or 14 months," he told The Irish News.

"I spent six years with Monaghan and a couple of years with Meath. At that stage, I felt I needed a break from it. But I'd like to return to managing in Ulster again some time in the future.

"My sole focus is on Corduff as we're facing a local derby in the intermediate championship against Carrickmacross this weekend. I haven't given any thought to the Down job."
