Championship:
Emyvale & Tyholland met on Sunday evening last in the Intermediate Championship in Scotstown. Emyvale played with a strong breeze behind them in the first half but only led by three points at halftime as they wasted several scoring chances. They adapted well to the wind in the second half & were leading by three points at the end of normal time. An extra four minutes of injury time was added & for some inexplicable reason, possibly the referee's watch stopped, Tyholland was awarded a free kick in the seventh extra minute to level the scores at fourteen points each. The replay was fixed for Inniskeen on Wednesday evening last. Skills Competition
Martin O'Brien has been working tirelessly over the past few weeks putting the ladies & men, girls & boy's team through the skills competitions. A date will be set shortly for the finals when three representatives from each age group will compete to see who will be crowned the most skilful male & female in the club so watch this space for more details.

Congratulations to the U12 B Team that won the U12 FL Div 3B Shield Final when they defeated Scotstown at the weekend. This is the third year is a row that Emyvale have won this competition. The panel was Caolan Treanor, Rio Corrigan, Luke Kelly, Kelvin Hackett, Caolan McKenna, Luke Aughey, Jake Hughes, Darragh Sherry, Nathan Prendergast, Gary Treanor, Mark Donoghue, Declan McKenna, Dylan Sherry, Daithi McKenna, Luke Cawley, Ronan McMahon, Conor McCaffrey, Billy Mc Quaid, Matthew Duffy, Darcey Colleran, Matthew Skeath. Their mentors were Sean Mc Kenna & Enda Sherry so well done lads. The U12 A Team will play their final in Castleblayney on the 30th August against Monaghan Harps.
