Universal Graphic Junior Championship: Well done to our junior team who booked a place in the quarter finals of the Universal Graphic Junior Championship, where they now play Aghabog in the next round, schedule for Aug 10th. In what was a scrappy enough game, Scotstown to their credit did hit a good patch between 10th & 20th minute, scoring 1-4 without reply. Cian Mohan had level things with a free, Sean Mohan level the match again at 2pts each, prior to the run of scores. Tom Moyna received a good ball to score a goal on 14mins, followed by points through Paul Sherlock, Declan Treanor, Michael McCarville & Sean Mohan to carry them into a lead of 1-6 to 1-3 at halftime. Toome were on the ball from the restart of 2nd half and soon the sides were level at 1-6 a piece by 42nd minute. Sean Mohan responded with a free, followed by another good score and Scotstown restored the 3pt advantage with a Paul Sherlock effort. Victory was sealed when Adrian Carbin tapped over a late free to leave the final outcome at 1-10 to 1-8. Minor League: Next league match is on Tuesday 5th Aug at home to Donaghmoyne. They were away in the league on Tuesday last against Carrick and suffered a heavy defeat it what was a disappointing performance.

U16 Championship: Our 1st team will be at home in the U16 Championship Quarter finals on Thursday 7th Aug against Corduff at 7.30pm. The 2nd team will be away to Cremartin in the Championship on Thursday Aug 7th.

U16s: Our 1st team will be away to St Pats in the league this Thursday evening at 7.30pm in Drumhowan. Our U16s outplayed their opponents to claim another good win last week. The first half performance gave the home side a comfortable lead at half time, with Leonard McDermott contributing well, while he slotted home some fine goals. Cillian Sherry, Adrian Grew, Owen McCague were also on target in the first half. The 2nd half was a bit competitive, Donaghmoyne registered two goals of their own but Ronan King hit 1-2 in the 2nd half and with further scores through Jack Mohan, Mark Maguire and a fine goal from substitute Mark McKenna towards the end left the result in favour of the home team. There were fine performances from Darragh McCague in goals and the defence played well, particularly Donal McKenna, Eamon Hamill & Eanna Deery to name but a few as it was a team performance. Team: Darragh McCague, Jamie McKenna, Donal McKenna, Eanna Deery, Jack Mohan, Fergal Sherlock, Cillian Sherry, Ruairi McKenna, Adrian Grew, Mark Maguire, Owen McCague, Leonard McDermott, Conor Mallon.
