Reserves:Our reserves travelled to Aughnamullen on Sunday. This was an important game as the winners would be getting a home semi final. Doohamlet got the job done well with a good start that Usian Bolt would be proud of. Fitst half goals from Barry Mc Ginn & Ollie Hughes and 2 points from Conor Marray gave us a great advantage going in at half time with a scoreline of 4-5 to 0-4. The second half was always going to be a tough one with Aughnamullen having to throw everything at us. Some fine points by Barry McGinn, Conor Marray, Jamie Walshe & Micheal Marray always kept Doohamlet in a healthy lead. We ran out winners on a score line of 4-15 to Aughnamullen 2-14. U16,s played Castleblayney on Thursday, a very dull first half by Doohamlet standards left us a tough battle ahead of us in the second half, but the boys fought back well but just fell short and blayney ran out winners.

U14,s hosted Clontibret on Saturday this was a tough and niggly affair as what a derby games are. Our boys played with real passion and heart but it was Clontibret who ran out winners on the day.

Good Luck to Colin Walshe and the Monaghan Senior Team on Saturday as they face Kildare in Croke Park in the All Ireland Qaulifers.
