U-16's- Recorded victory at home to Kilanny on Thursday evening last. A bright opening saw our lads off the mark with two early scores - on both occasions the green flag was raised. However this good start led our lads into a false sense of security. Squandered possession and missed opportunities was to be dominant theme throughout the first half. The second half was to see a marked improvement in how our lads applied themselves and took their opportunities when they presented themselves. Final score on the night Eire Og 4-18 Kilanny 3-10. Next game is tonight (Thursday) away to Emyvale with a 7.30pm throw in.
