Monaghan minors eased their way past a sluggish Saffron side on Saturday
evening in the picturesque north Antrim venue at St Mary's Ahoghill to book
their place in this year's Ulster Minor Football League Shield final with an
emphatic 19 points victory in a contest that in all fairness was over by the
half way stage with the best Antrim could achieve was outscoring the
visitors by 0-5 to 0-2 in the closing ten minutes.
