TESCO Homegrown NFL Division 1 semi-final:

The eagerly anticipated NFL div 1 semi-final clash of Dublin and Monaghan will go ahead as originally fixed in Kingscourt Cavan on Sunday the 27th of April at 1pm, confirmation of the fixture was announced this morning by the LGFA in Croke Park.

Dublin LGFA had requested that Croke Park review the scheduling of the game as it was clashing directly with the Allianz NFL finals in Croke Park which also involved Monaghan and Dublin.

Dublin LGFA had proposed that the Ladies semi-final be switched to an evening game on the 26th of April while also suggesting could the Ladies fixture be played as part of a triple bill in Croke Park on the 27th at 12 noon ahead of the Monaghan v Donegal final at 2pm followed by the Dublin v Derry game at 4pm.

An email issued this morning by Karen Togher (National Fixtures Coordinator) stated - "Monaghan were unable to facilitate a change in the NFL Division 1 Semi Final. Please be advised the Tesco Homegrown Ladies NFL Division 1 Semi Final, Dublin v Monaghan will be played at 1pm on Sunday the 27th April in Kingscourt Stars GAA grounds, Cavan".

For those unable to travel to Kingscourt on Sunday April 27th, Dublin LGFA will have live updates available via their social media accounts @dublinladiesg on Twitter and on our Facebook pages.
