Credit Union League: Next senior league match will be 2nd May away to Latton. The Truagh league match has been reschedule for 2nd Aug.

Junior League: Our 3rd team will have their 4th league outing at home on Sunday 20th April against Aughnamullen at 2pm. Pl come along and support the team

Reserve League DIV 1: Our B team will be away to Monaghan Harps on Wednesday 23rd April at 7.30pm

Senior League: Scotstown seniors were the visitors to Casleblayney Faughs on Saturday evening last, were the supporters got the opportunity to view and to seat in the new seated stand. The match itself was low key as the home side held the advantage at half time by 1-4 to 1-3. David Mc Cague had open the scoring for Scotstown and on 16mins Conor Mc Carthy had finished off a well taken goal after a good ball from James Turley as they trailed by a point at the break. Scotstown took control of the second half with points from Shane Carey (3), Orin Heaphey (3), Damien McArdle (1), James Turley (1), while Rory Beggan tapped over his second free of the game and Conor McCarthy brought his tally for the evening to 1-2, as Scotstown registered their second league win on a final score of 1-13 to 1-7. Junior League: Our 3rd team were away to Blackhill on Friday last and they really put it up the home team for long periods of the game. Scotstown trailed by 5pts at half time were they put away two opportune goals in the first half, the first one a 17th minute penalty from Ruairi Sheehan and the second goal came towards the end of the half through Conor Caulfield leaving them behind by 2-8 to 2-3. In the second half they cut the deficit to a single point when they trail by 2-9 to 2-8 with only 8mins remaining, however, Blackhill did go on to seal the win with two quick goals near the end of the match to take all two league points on a final score of 4-11 to 2-8. Minors: The Minors suffered their first defeats of the season during the past week, with a one point loss at home to Carrickmacross and an away defeat to Killanny. This leaves them second in the table behind Donaghmoyne, who they play next Tuesday evening at 7:15pm in Donaghmoyne.
U16 DIV 1: This Thursday evening 17th April away to Clontibret at 6.45pm. On Thursday 24th April our lads will be away to Corduff at 7pm. In last Thursday's match away to Truagh the game ended all square. In a low scoring half, the home side led for most of the first half until 26th minute, then a Padraig Meehan goal put Scotstown ahead but Truagh replied with a point to leave the side's level at 1-3 to 6pts at the interval. In the second half a 46th minute goal from Adrian Grew gave Scotstown the lead once again and they looked as if they may take the two league points but Truagh found the range with two fine injury time scores to end the contest on level terms at 11pts to 2-5. U6 & U8: Training will continue for both boys and girls on Saturday mornings at the complex at 10.30am.

U14 DIV 5: On Sat 19th April our 2nd team away to Monaghan Harps at 12 noon.

Child Protection: A Child Protection Course will be held in Cloghan on Friday 25th April. This course will run from 7-10pm. The cost for this course is €10 per person. To book a place contact John McArdle on 087 - 2508557 or email [email protected]

Child Protection Course: Scotstown will host a Child Protection Course for coaches within the club on Monday, 28th April from 7pm-10pm in the Complex. 

Wedding Bells: Best Wishes and Congratulations to Mickey Corrigan and Martina Halligan who got married last Saturday. We wish them good health and happiness in their married life.

Bar Rota: Week beginning 21st -27th April, the Bar Rota team on duty will be Gene Mc Carey, Kevin Maguire and Brian McGinnity.
