Club Lotto

We had no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 2, 3, 12 and 27. The four lucky dip winners were Seanan Maguire, Margaret Lambe, Pauline Fleming and Fintan Marron.  Our next jackpot is for €1700 and the draw will take place in the Meeting Room next Monday evening.

All Ireland Intermediate Club Final

 

So, it’s not long now until our Senior team represent the parish, county and province in the most important game of their lives in Croke Park. The lads have trained for this moment since January 2019 and have rightfully battled their way to this great occasion. We wish James, Paul, Frankie, Jody, the backroom team and all the players the very best of luck. Regardless of the result we are so proud of you all. Throw in is at 5.15pm on Saturday evening. The game will be streamed live on TG4 YouTube, Northern Sound and will also be tweeted live on our Twitter page @MitchellsGAA_

 

Congratulations

 

Congratulations to the club for being awarded joint Club of the Year along with Blackhill at last weekend’s Monaghan GAA Awards. Also, to Gavin Doogan on receiving his well-deserved award for Intermediate Player of the Year in 2019. The County Board also recognised Gavin’s retirement from Inter County football before Christmas. These awards are testament to the player Gavin is and thankfully he plays his football with Magheracloone.

 

Gala Dinner

Keep free February 29th for our Gala Dinner which is being held in the Nuremore Hotel. Tickets are priced at €40 and will be on sale in the next coming weeks. MC for the night is none other than Sean Mc Caffrey of Northern Sound fame. This promises to be a great night after our memorable year so be sure to get your tickets early. Contact any Committee member for details.

Registration

We will hold two registration dates for those wishing to affiliate with the club for 2020. Friday February 7th from 7pm to 8pm and again on Sunday, March 8th at 5pm in The M Hotel.

It will be a momentous and historic day for the club this Saturday as our Senior men grace the hallowed turf of Croke Park in the All Ireland Intermediate Club Final. We wish each of you the very best of good luck.
