Doohamlet club notes

We would like to congratulate Eamonn Connolly on receiving the Volunteer Recognition and Appreciation scheme award last week.  An award truly deserved by Eamonn, who has been involved with Doohamlet GFC for the best part of his life.

Congratulation to Barry Mc Bennett who played his first game on Sunday last with the county team starting out in midfield and also to Barry Mc Ginn who started his game in the forward line.

Don’t forget to support the Doohamlet Community Centre annual bizarre on Sunday 8th of Dec in Doohamlet National School from 3pm -5pm and afterwards in Connolly’s lounge a chance to meet with Santa.

Congratulations to our neighbours Blackhill on winning the Ulster title.  We would like to wish the management and team all the success in their bid for the All Ireland title. 

Just reminders that the national club draw tickets are now issued and tickets are now available from any committee member or player.  Tickets are priced at 10 euro with some fantastic prizes.  All monies raised stays in the club.
