Corduff Gaels Lotto:

The weekly Lotto draw took place last Sunday night in MC’s of Shercock with a jackpot worth €7,800. There was no jackpot winner and the numbers drawn were 6,8,12,and 18. Congratulations to the 5 Lucky Dip winners Jessica Wynne, Peter Gilsenan, Gerry McGardle(Jn), Michael Dillon and Joanne Byrne. This week’s draw takes place in Ballytrain on Sunday night 1st December with a jackpot of €7,900. This is the last Lotto of 2019 so there will be 5 festive hampers each worth €50 instead of the €20 lucky Dip.The Lotto will be on sale in usual outlets so your continued support would be appreciated. 

A massive thank you to everyone who helped with last Saturday’s Lotto sales in Cloughvalley Stores. Firstly thanks to Patsy McNally for organising the day and to Cloughvalley Stores for giving us the slot. Also thanks to the aforementioned Patsy, Tom Fox, The Gomez Family, Mary McEneaney and John McEnaney who sold the Lotto and to Bernie Walsh for helping to organise it. 

Corduff Gaels AGM: Thursday 21st November:

Corduff Gaels AGM took place last Thursday 21st of November in The Heritage Room. Chairperson Peter McGarrell welcomed the large crowd in attendance and the meeting proceeded. Both the Chairperson and Secretary Majella Daly reviewed the 2019 season and thanked everyone who contributed in any way to the success of the season both on and off the pitch. Outgoing Treasurer Bernice McNally presented the financial report.

The following officers were elected onto the 2020 committee: Chairperson Peter McGarrell, Vice Chairperson Colm Marron, Secretary Majella Daly , Assistant Secretary John Finlass, Treasurer Denise Hand, Assistant Treasurer Ben Woods, PRO Mary McEneaney, Youth Officer John Finlass,Children’s Officer Paula Sweeney, Health and Wellbeing Officer Pat McEnaney,Insurance Officer Bernice McNally and Cultural Officer Sinead McEntee. The incoming committee is wished good luck for the 2020 season as a new decade dawns.

Congratulations to Padraic Keenan who was awarded Player Of The Year and Peter McGarrell Club Person of The Year. Both accolades were truly deserved reflecting their work and dedication in 2019.

2020 promises to be an exciting year for the club so watch this space for some exciting announcements!
