Drumhowan club notes

October 16, 2019

JFL- We face Aghabog in the league semi final this Saturday 19th Oct in Drumhowan at 4pm. Please come out to support. Best of luck to players and management.

U13- We had a great days football today in the Raymond Gilliland Memorial Tournament on Saturday. We started off with a great win over Aughnamullen and then a hard-fought draw with Latton in game 2. We lost game 3 to Doohamlet which then left us in a playoff game v Latton. We started well and were 2 up at half-time, however Latton hit 4 points in a row to win. This then left us in the Shield Final v Doohamlet. We reversed the previous result to win by 4 points after a hard-fought game. 90 minutes football on the day in a very enjoyable event. Francis Conlon captain accepted the shield on behalf of the panel. Well done to everyone. Big thanks to the Gilliand family and Aughnamullen GAA for a great day and top-class hospitality. Much appreciated.

Sr. Brigids- Hard luck to St.Brigids who lost their Semi-Final against Edendork with a final score of 3-20 to 1-14. Well done to the team and management on a successful year winning the double.

Congratulations- Congratulations to club treasurer Philip McAdam and Edwina on the birth of their daughter Elissa.

Outstanding Bills- Anyone with outstanding bills please send into treasurer Philip McAdam as end of accounts year is soon approaching.
