Club Lotto

We had no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 4, 12, 14 and 22. The four lucky dip winners were Michael Halpin, Shercock, Oliver Byrne, Lisnaclea, Kathleen Tuite and Mark Gilsenan and each win €50. Our next jackpot is for €2200 and the draw will take place in the Meeting Room on Monday evening.
You can do the lotto via the usual outlets and online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie. Thank you to all our lotto sellers who sell and all our lotto buyers who buy, it’s much appreciated.

Intermediate Championship Final

Congratulations to our Senior men who defeated Donaghmoyne in the McElvaney W&R Intermediate Championship final on Sunday last on a score line of 2-17 to 1-12. This was a super all round team performance and the Cup deservedly went to the Mitchells who will now return to senior ranks one year after being relegated. Well done to the management team of James, Paul and Frankie, trainer Jody Clarke, kitman and allrounder Johnny Smith, stats man, Kevin Kelly and Damien Babington on getting the lads to the levels they needed to be at to ensure they got the results they worked for. Congratulations also to Man of the Match Alan McCahey, Alan scored an impressive nine points (5 from play and 4 frees) to deservedly win the accolade. Alan’s nine points also made him top scorer in this year’s Intermediate Championship, a great achievement Alan, well done. Thank you to all our supporters for all the support and good wishes they have given over the year, it’s much appreciated by all the players and it was great to see the sea of black and white on the pitch on Sunday when the final whistle blew.

Our next outing is the league semi-final against Monaghan Harps on Saturday afternoon at 4pm in Kingscourt. Come out and support our County Champions in their quest for the double!

Ladies' Notes
