Club Lotto

We had no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 4, 7, 13 and 21. The four lucky dip winners were Holly Lynch, Robert Brown, Nuala McMahon and Michael and Rose Kelly and each win €50. Our next jackpot is for €1800 and the draw will take place in the Meeting Room on Monday evening.
You can do the lotto via the usual outlets and online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie. Thank you to all our lotto sellers who sell and all our lotto buyers who buy, it’s much appreciated.

Ratoath U8’s

Magheracloone Mitchells hosted Ratoath Gaa last Saturday in our new facility. A very enjoyable day was had by all. Conditions were perfect, the sun was shining, and every child had a smile on their face (even bigger when the ice-cream van arrived). It was great to have Victor and Nicholas, our two little heroes, down to our club.

Special mention must go to Yvonne Mc Connon for her fabulous cake, it was just gorgeous.

Thank you to all our committee members, parents and supporters for making it all happen. Without you all we wouldn’t have a club as great as we have. Also thank you to Ratoath for making the journey down and bringing such sporting friendship with you.

Seniors

Our senior team recorded a great win over Corduff last Sunday afternoon. At half time we found ourselves three points down, but a different side came out in the second half and we soon found ourselves well ahead with Corduff scoring their first point of the second half after twenty minutes. Well done lads! We wish Michael Metzger a speedy recovery after suffering an ankle injury during the match. The lads now have a break until September 29th when they will meet the winners of Emyvale/Aughnamullen in the Intermediate Championship semi-final, time and venue to be confirmed.

U13's

Hard luck to our U13's who were beaten in the Championship final last Saturday. They battled hard against a strong Emyvale team but unfortunately it wasn't to be for this great bunch of players.

U15's

Our U15's play near neighbours Carrick in the final of the Division 1 and 2 Championship at 4pm in Inniskeen this Saturday. Best of luck lads! Make sure to make the short trip over to Inniskeen to support our boys.

U17’s

Our U17’s are also in final mode and they meet Scotstown once again in their second final of the season. This game takes place on Sunday 29th at 4pm, venue to be confirmed.
