Intermediate Football Championship: On Saturday evening last the Senior team produced an excellent performance and win against Sean Mc Dermotts in the Championship winning by 3-18 to 2-09. The basis for this win was an excellent first half showing coming from 3 points down at 1 stage to go 8 points up at the break. In the second half Sean Mc Dermotts reduced the arrears down to 6 but in the final quarter the blues scored 1-03 without reply to emerge victorious. Next game is against Emyvale which is provisionally next weekend.
Intermediate League: The Senior team play Tyholland this Sunday in their penultimate league game in Tyholland at 12.30pm. Nothing less than a win will suffice so we are calling on all supporters to give the boys the lift to consolidate intermediate football for 2020. Best wishes is extended to the team and management. On another note best wishes is extended to Senior player Shane Conlon who underwent knee surgery last Friday. Also to another player of our Senior Panel Lee Conlan who received a nasty facial injury recently after a collision with another player hopefully Lee's injury doesn't interfere with his good looks.

Under 17: The U17 play in the semi final of the championship no opposition or date of next game at time of issue check social media for details.
Under 15: The Under 15's year ended on Thursday evening last when they were beaten by Doohamlet in a game in which they tried hard but Doohamlets physicality proved the difference in the end. Many thanks is extended to the players who put in great effort all year and their parents for taking them to the games and training sessions and finally to the management team of Eugene Bannigan, Shane Mulligan, John Hamilton & Brian Mc Ardle who helped out with the team and gave up their time and commitment to the cause. Also to the First Aid people of Philomena Duffy & Rosemary Johnston who were always available when called upon.

Under 13: The U13 team were defeated by Inniskeen in the semi final of the championship on Saturday last thus ending their 2019 campaign. The boys reached both the league & championship semi finals and were unfortunate to come up short in both however they are a credit to their club for giving us such great days throughout the year. Many thanks is extended to the players and their parents who took the players to the training and games throughout the year. A special word of thanks to the management team of James Lambe, Gavin Mc Eneaney, Michael Keenan & Michael Bannigan with the team this year and to first aid person Philomena Duffy who also helped out with this team.

Under 11: The Under 11 team played in the Magheracloone Tourament on Saturday and gave an good account of themselves they now play in the Conor Mc Skeane Tourament this Saturday in Donaghmoyne best of luck to all concerned.
Under 10's: The Under 10 team also played in the Magheracloone tournament last and came away with the trophy defeating Bailieborough in the final after extra time. Team Captain Ben Mc Geough received the trophy along with best player award so well done to all.
Ladies: The Under 12 girls played Killanny in the semi final on Sunday afternoon last and came away with a great victory. They now play Magheracloone in the final on Saturday 21st September at 12.30pm in Aghabog.
Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Club Secretary Ann Blanche on the death of her father Michael Mc Kenna Emyvale may god have mercy on his soul. Sympathy is extended to County PRO Majella Boyd on the death of her father Mac Boyd may god have mercy on his soul.

Many Thanks: Many thanks to all those who helped to steward at Intermediate Championship game on Sunday last. There are 2 Juvenile finals being held this Saturday morning if there is anyone available to help out it would be greatly appreciated.
Social Centre: The Social Centre is closed next week from Monday till Friday for renovations.

Vintage Day: The Aughnamullen Vintage Day takes place on Sunday 27th October. There will be lots of new activities for all for the 10th Anniversary of the Aughnamullen Vintage. There are some inter trade stands available but these are limited for further details please contact PJ Forde, Dominic Harte or Pamela Sheridan or any committee member.
