Intermediate Championship: The senior team played Corduff in the Intermediate Championship on Saturday last and were defeated by 4 points on a score line of 2-9 to 1-8. In the first half the scores were level on a number of occasions and at half time it was 0-4 points each. In the second half Corduff went into a 4 point lead however this was pegged back by an Aughnamullen goal and entering injury time led by 1 however Corduff scored a goal and they went on to secure victory. Next game is the championship is against Tyholland in Emyvale this Friday night at 8pm. Best wishes to team and management

Lotto: The lotto was held on Sunday night last the numbers were  11,27,24,32 there was no winner.

Under 17: The Under 17 team defeated Corduff in the championship on Tuesday last. They led from start to finish to win comfortable in the end. Next game is away to Doohamlet on Tuesday next.

Under 15: The Under 15 team play Aghabog in Latton at 7.30pm tonight(Thursday). Best wishes to team and management.

Under 13: The under 13 team played Tyholland on Thursday last and came away with a comfortable victory. They play Cremartin in the Quarter final of the Championship. Best of luck to team and management. Check social media for details.

Ladies: The Under 16 ladies team were defeated by Carrickmacross in the championship on Monday evening last thus ending their year. Many thanks is extended to the management team of Bernie Mc Brien, Sandra Mc Entee & John Sheridan. The Under 12 girls play in the semi final next week check social media for details.

Stewards: Aughnamullen host the Senior Championship fixture between Currin & Inniskeen this Sunday at 1pm and are looking for stewards. Anyone available to meet up at the centre at 12 noon.

All Ireland Hurling Final Draw: Alan Markey & Michael Ward Lisduff were the names that won tickets to the All Ireland Hurling Final last Sunday

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Kevin Mc Guigan Baraghy on the death of his uncle Paddy Mc Carney Scotshouse may god have mercy on his soul.

Bon Voyage: Good luck to Thomas Finnegan on his travels to Australia. Also to Dean Johnston who is going to the UK.

Summer Camp: Our Annual summer camp took place in early August with 194 from the ages of 5 to 13 children attending. Aughnamullen are proud to say.To Annie Hannaway our coaching and games manager her knowledge and experience made the camp run so smoothly. To the 8 strong  committee Yvonne our adminstration Annie coaching and games, Noeleen coordinator, Teresa children's officer Breige Sheridan, Bea Mc Ardle & Kevina Hughes supervisors. Everyone done their part to help put the camp together.  To those who helped out making tea, sorting out tops. Entertaining the stragglers. To the three 1st aid ladies for your gently words of reassurance and the magic touch. To our coaches who give up ur time to give every child a fun filled week. With lots of fun and games. To Paddy our chairman took the role to tie up football boots.. think the novelty was wearing off after the 1st 20. To those who give up their spare time to help out some  who took the week off work to help. To the tea ladies who sorted tops and kept the hall tidy. All your help is very much appreciated. To the ladies who didn't even have to be asked just turned up and helped in the kitchen . To the two who has this past 8 years watched and secured our gate the one and only John Hamilton & Bridie Duffy. Thank you to Darren Hughes who took the time to come see the children and handed out certificates to our winners to those who refereed our mini leagues. To Rosemary Johnston Gift n things who supplied us with extra equipment needed.
