Monaghan LGFA Blitz:
Last Saturday morning Corduff Ladies hosted one of Monaghan LGFA’s first round of U8 and U10 blitzes with teams from Corduff, Magheracloone, Latton, and Donaghmoyne descending upon Corduff. The girls were all very excited about playing and for some it was their first blitz with emphasis placed on fun, friendship, fair play and achievement while developing the skills of the game. Massive thanks to the teams and their mentors for participating. Also thanks to the referees, to Raymond Byrne the time keeper and to the Corduff Ladies Committee for putting such an effort into organizing the event. The girls all received a healthy goodie bag at the end and we thank Celtic Pure for sponsoring their new flavoured water for each goodie bag. This was the first blitz of the season with blitzes on a regular basis all summer so we wish the girls lots of fun along the way. Corduff will host another blitz in August and we’re looking forward to that already!
Congratulations:
Corduff Gaels and Corduff Ladies would like to congratulate all our young members who celebrated their First Holy Communion over the last few weeks and we hope you all had a very special day.
