Coiste Cultúir & Gaeilge Coiste Chontae Mhuineacháin each year offer Scholarship for young people in the
Clubs to attend Gaeltacha so as to inhance and broaden their skill as Gaeilge and to promote Gaeilge in Clubs
and as a whole in the County. Applications are now open for the 2019 Scholarships. CLOSING DATE OF
APPLICATIONS ON OR BEFORE: 10th April 2019. Application forms available from resources section section
of www.monaghangaa.ie and should be completed and returned TO YOUR CLUBS CULTURAL OFFICER who will

Indoor training continues on Saturday mornings for nursery and u7’s from 10-11am and 11am-12pm for U9’s
in Emyvale Leisure Centre.
Training for U11’s will resume tonight (Thursday). First game of the year will be at home to Eire Og. Please
watch the WhatsApp group for meet up time.
U13’s played their first games of the season on bank holiday Monday. Our div.2 team played Oram followed by
our div.6 team hosting neighbours Truagh. Two good results with wins in both games to help get the season
off to a healthy start. Well done to all involved .. training continues on Thursday evening at 6.30 pm til 7 45
U15s Training Tuesday's & Thursday's as usual. First match provisionally scheduled for Thursday 28th March,
time venue and opposition still TBC.
Unfortunately the annual Eamon McElroy/Benny Connolly Blitz scheduled for last Monday 18th March was
postponed due to the weather, a new date will hopefully be confirmed shortly.
U17’s had a very good challenge game v Madden GFC also on the bank holiday Monday. Thanks to Madden
Gfc for the game and good with their season ahead. Please note Management will contact all about our next
training / challenge game . Our first league game is Tuesday 26th March . More details about this at training
sessions.
