Club Lotto

We had no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 6, 8, 11 and 20. The four lucky dip winners were Kevin McArdle, Douglas Smyth, Bailieborough, Thomas and Geraldine Martin and Pauric and Priscilla Doogan and each win €50. Our next jackpot will be for €1200 and the draw will take place in Treacys Hotel on Monday evening.

You can do the lotto via the usual outlets and online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie

GoFundMe

The club would like to thank everybody who donated to our GoFundMe page after we lost all our equipment in September. All the necessary equipment has been bought for all our teams to ensure we are ready for the 2019 season. Items include footballs, cones, bibs, speed ladders, cones, hurdles etc.

Registration dates

The club will hold two registration dates in Treacys Hotel on February 24th and March 10th. Time to be confirmed. We encourage all members, new and old to attend as coaches will no longer be taking registration forms or money at training.

Seniors

Our senior team have been drawn against Tyholland in the preliminary round of the Intermediate Championship.

U11’s

U11 training continues in Inver College on Thursday evenings at 6.30pm to 7.45pm. Gum shields essential.

Well done to all our players who togged out at half time of the Monaghan match last Sunday. Thankfully the cold weather didn’t hamper the skills on show at half time.

U9’s

Our U9’s return to training on Thursday evening in Kingscourt Community Centre from 8pm to 9pm. Gumshields essential.

Bishop Larry Duffy

Congratulation to our former player and current supporter on his recent ordination as Bishop of Clogher. This is a tremendous honour for Fr. Duffy and also for the parish and the club. We wish him well in his new position and hope to see him shouting for his native club in the months and years to come.
