Oram club notes

MEMBERSHIP: A tiered membership policy was adopted at a recent club meeting, a major emphasis on increasing our members for 2019 with this in mind sub committee consisting of Rory Murphy, Pauric Mc Mahon, Tony Graham, Ronan Cunningham, Ann Marie Connolly & Jim O"Neill, are assigned with the task of ensuring that all those who use our facilities are full members and therefore insured to do so. FRIENDS OF ORAM as is €120 for the year €10 a month direct debit with monthly draw for 2×€50, entry into a draw for the clubs all ireland tickets.

€80 Family Membership 

€70 Single adult

€30 3rd Level student & student aged 7 TO 17 YEARS OF AGE

€10 social member

€10 for a child under 7 and member of the academy with a free ball to each child. All are compulsory for those who are playing for the club for insurance. Fees can be paid to any of the above people. 

 

REGISTRATION NIGHT: Thursday 24TH January AT 830-930 in the club, please note no juvenile is permitted to train until the registration & insurance fee is payed, to avoid any confusion at commencement of training we ask all parents to register players on this night.

 

CHILD PROTECTION: The club host a child protection course on Friday 25th January in the meeting, it is vitally important that involved in coaching & administration in the club attend

 

COACHING COUSRE: In Our Ladys SECONDARY School on Saturday 26th January, excellent coach education morning with Guest coaches, Colin Nally, ( Meath) Conor Laverty (Down) Mickey Whelan ( Dublin) in attendance for practical and theory sessions, registration from 9-30. Our own Declan Mc Bennet will compare the Q & A section of the day.

 

CONGRATS: To popular local lad Damien Davis who performed on the Tg 4 music show last Tuesday night a large attendance in the centre supported and voted for Damien on the night. 

 

SPEEDY RECOVERY: We wish Marie Boyd well on her road recovery, our prayers and thoughts are with the Boyd & Mc Ginn families at this difficult time.

 

HURLING: We wish Blayney Hurlers well in their All Ireland semi final next Sunday.
