The county are organising following workshops- Monday 14th January: Goalkeeping Workshop. Guest Coaches on the night are current All Star Rory Beggan and Monaghan Senior Goalkeeping Coach Steve Williams. This will be a practical based workshop and will cover all areas of goalkeeping from kick outs to preparation and organisation be delivered in Monaghan GAA Training Grounds Cloghan starting at 7.30pm.The cost for attending this workshop is €5.

Other upcoming workshops are as follows: Skill Development Workshops on 23rd & 29th January in Cremartin (Indoors) from 7:30 to 9pm, targeting underage coaches from U6 to U14. These workshops will be delivered by Ulster Council Coaching staff. Athletic Development workshop on the 2nd of February from 10am to 12pm for youth team coaches to be delivered by Barry McKenna (Monaghan Athletic Development Coach). This workshop will take place in Cloghan. Hurling Workshop - "The transition from Ground to Airborne Hurling" targeting U6 to U12 coaches. This workshop will take place on the 19th of February to be delivered by Ryan Gaffney, Ulster Council RDHO. Time and Venue TBC. "Coaching the Coaches Day" on Saturday 2nd March. U17 county trials have concluded with Emyvale doing brilliantly in getting 4 players onto the panel. Congratulations to Karl Gallagher, Ben Ryan, Michael Hamill and Alastair Stewart. Well done and keep up the good work.
