Super Valu Initiative: During the summer months Mc Mahon's Super Valu Castleblayney ran an initiative where customers could put their shopping receipts into nominated club boxes where clubs could receive 30 touch footballs.  As a result of this Aughnamullen GAA received their allocated 30 footballs last Saturday and many thanks is extended to all who supported our club in this initiative and also to Mc Mahon's Super Valu.

 

Membership: Membership is now due for the new year. Anyone using any of the facilities around the GAA grounds ie Walking Track, Facilities in the Handball & Squash Alleys, and anyone who participates in any activities in the hall must be members of the club. Membership rates are as follows Single Membership €30, Membership for 2 people in 1 Family €55. Membership for Adult player is €50. Membership can be paid to Club Treasurers Debbie Mc Ardle or Rosemary Johnston

 

Ladies Presentation Dance: The Ladies Presentation Dance takes place this Saturday night the 24th November in the Social Centre commencing at 7.30pm. This is to celebrate all the ladies success from Under 12 to Senior and not forgetting the successful mothers & others team so come out and support our ladies.

 

 

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Noel Duffy County PRO and extended Duffy family Clogher Ballybay on the death of Nan Duffy may god have mercy on her soul. To the Murnaghan Family Garrybawn, Latton on the death of John Murnaghan may god have mercy on his soul.

 

 

Coaching Courses: On January the 7th & 14th 2019 Monaghan GAA Coaching & Games Development are hosting two workshops which are suitable for coaches and managers operating between U14 and Senior level.

Tactical Awareness Through Games Based Coaching.

The first workshop will be delivered by current Meath Senior Team Coach, Colm Nally.The workshop will be focusing on tactical awareness and applying this through games based activities. This will be a practical based workshop and will be held both indoors/outdoors and will be delivered in Cloghan starting at 7.30pm.

The cost for attending this workshops is €5.

Goalkeeping Workshop.

Our second workshop will take place a week later on the 14th of January and our Guest Coaches on the night are current All Star Rory Beggan and Monaghan Senior Goalkeeping Coach Steve Williams. This will be a practical based workshop and will be delivered in  Cloghan starting at 7.30pm.

The cost for attending this workshop is €5.

 

GAA Season Ticket: The GAA Season 2019 is currently on sale. If you wish to pay €200 for club + ticket it entitles you to free entry to all Monaghan's National League games, first round of the Ulster Championship, discounted price to all other championship games Monaghan play in, free entry to All Ireland Senior club finals on St Patricks Day and free entry to all Monaghan Club Championship games in 2019 and a guaranteed All Ireland ticket should Monaghan qualify for the All Ireland Final. If you purchase before December 4th your ticket will arrive before Christmas. Scotstown GAA: Scotstown GAA are organising a talk with Philly McMahon on Wed 28th November at 8pm in Scotstown GAA Complex.  The talk will be about the “Choices” facing our young people today.  Philly has first hand experience of the devastation that drug addiction can have on the addict and their families. Please support this worthwhile talk.

 

Congrats: Congrats is extended to Matt Conlan Mullinary who celebrated his 60th Birthday last weekend.
