they aim to consolidate their Intermediate status for 2019.

achievement to reach the final . Best wishes to everyone involved. Throw-in is at 430pm and the venue is to
be confirmed.

County Final Officials:
Anthony Marron was the man in the middle for last Sunday’s Senior county final between Scotstown and
Ballybay. Well done to Anthony and his match Officials Peter McGarrell, John Finlass, Niall Hand and Dylan
Finegan.
Reserve the date: It’s time to get the diary out and reserve Saturday the 29 th of December. More details to
follow but for now 29 th December will be an opportunity to dress in your finest and come along to The
Nuremore Hotel to celebrate the club’s 50 th Anniversary.

Ladies:
U12’s: Massive congratulations to the U12 girls team which won their final at the Monaghan Ladies U12 Blitz
in Aughnamullen recently. This group of girls showed great skill and determination throughout their matches
and were worthy winners in the final. This was a just reward for their hard work all season. The club would like
to thank Darin and his assistants for their dedication throughout the year with their hard work coming to fruition
at the blitz.. We are already looking forward to next year.

Senior Ladies:
After a considerable break the Senior Ladies returned to competitive action last Saturday away to
Aughnamullen in the Senior League Division 2 Semi- final. Aughnamullen were stronger in the first quarter

taking the lead but 2 goals for Corduff turned the game on its head and by the interval Corduff held a
comfortable lead of 7 points. However Aughnamullen reduced that lead in the second half by scoring 2-03
without return going level and then taking the lead. Once again a Corduff goal brought them back into the
game and with there was nothing between the teams going in to injury time. A last gasp free off the boot of
Eva Woods secured their spot in the final on a scoreline of 4-10 to 3-12. Well done everyone.

Monster Bingo:
Monaghan Ladies Monster Bingo is this Sunday at 3pm in The Hillgrove Hotel. There is a massive jackpot of
€2,000, house €400 and a line €100 with lots of other prizes! Too good to miss!

End Of Season Camp Out:
What an evening of entertainment we had in Corduff . Our campout was a great success with 40 families
braving the sleepover and over 270 people there for the evening. A big thank you to the Corduff Juveniles and
Ladies committees for organising this end of year celebration. Thanks to Lorcan Hand for organising the
electricity, Frank Gomez for sound and music, local artist Sinead Finnegan for face painting, Owen Hand for
keeping the generator topped up with diesel all night, even setting his alarm for 5am to check it, Pauline and
Betty for cooking all the food , and everyone who helped set up and take down the marquee, clean up, serve
the food, make the tea and coffee, and all of you for attending and making this a night our kids will never
forget. A big thank you to Keiran Duffy and Ryan McAnespie for calling over and answering all the questions
you had and giving plenty of their time for your photos.
