Seniors – The seniors are through to the Junior Championship Final after overcoming Oram on Sunday last in Scotstown. Despite dominating in the opening period Oram pulled a goal back md way through the half which only left 2 pts in it at half time 0.8pts to 1-3. However the lads were quick off the mark in the 2nd half with couple of quick opening scores from Robbie Mc Allister and Daniel Mc Mahon. The retained this lead and ran out 0-14pts to 1.6 winners. Well done to the team and management who now look forward to playing Cremartin in this years final. Irish News All-Stars Congratulations to Ryan Mc Anespie and all the Monaghan team mates on picking up the Irish News All Stars awards on Thursday night last in Armagh City Hotel. All at Emyvale are proud of Ryan and his achievements this year. Well done Ryan.

U7 Our U7s finished training on Friday evening last, well done to all our young boys and girls for all their effort all year in training and blitz’s. There was great improvement in skills within the group since the start of the year and hopefully this will encourage them to keep coming out and play football for many years to come.Thanks to all the coaches and parents who helped out during the year.

Well done to Michaeil, Conor, Barney, Ignas, Finn, Tom, Kyran, Oisin, Conan, Harry and our injured mascot Pauric for a great days football in Newbridge on Saturday winning 3 out of three very competitive games. Thanks to all the mentors who travelled with them also. We will have a training session on Wednesday evening in preparation for the upcoming tournament in Keady on Sunday October 7th.

U9 players will travel to Magheracloone on Saturday for a tournament and as its the last tournament of the year, a well deserved stop off at GR* is planned. This is no doubt set to be a fun day, enjoy!

U-11 Training for is now complete for the season, well done to all the lads who trained tirelessly through the season and who represented their club proudly at many tournaments. Thanks to all the parents for supporting their children and keep the football in the hands throughout the winter. Training will resume early in the new year.

U-13 Training will continue for another few weeks, good luck to those who will travel to the Blitz in Stewartstown on Saturday. Congratulations for Sean Treanor and Kayden Keenan who have been randomly selected to take part in the Croke park Activity day on Sunday 30th September. The boys will play a football on the main pitch at GAA headquarters, followed by a tour of the museum. this will be a great memorable experience fore our lads.

Our 15th Annual BC Blitz took place last Saturday 15th September. A total of 30 teams represented their clubs and counties on the day,  travelling from Meath, Tyrone, Armagh, Fermanagh, Donegal & Monaghan. Tully grounds was buzzing on Saturday morning with young eager footballers, parents and coaches all ready for the competition to begin. Weather held off and at 10am the starting whistles blew up for many games in what was set to be an exciting and memorable day. Emyvale fielded two team and one of those reached the quarter final of the cup but lost out to a very strong Tyholland team. The winners of the cup on were Gowna and Turagh won the shield, congratulations to both teams. A huge thank you to all who helped in making this U11 tournament the success it was, thanks for all the teams for making the effort to join us on the day. Also thanks to Barry Kerr Red Cross for being available, and to the Colton family for offering such support on the day.

U-17 The team bowed out of this years championship on Sunday past to Clan na Gael but it was not without a great fight. The lads were 7pts down at half time and put up a brilliant 2nd half performance to draw the match. The game went into extra-time and our lads were beaten by the narrowest of margins of 3-13 to 2.15.
