Lotto: There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot worth €2,300. The numbers drawn were  3, 9, 11 and 19. Congratulations to the 5 lucky dip winners Mary McCabe, Noel Sheridan, Patricia McCabe, Mary Kirk and Peter and Bridie McEnroe. This week’s draw takes place in Traynor’s on 16th September with a jackpot of €2,400. The Lotto will be on sale in usual outlets so your continued support would be appreciated.

Elvaney’s Waste and Recycling Intermediate Championship :

It’s Championship Sunday this Sunday 16th September with Round  2A of Mc Elvaney’s Waste and Recycling Intermediate Championship when Corduff meet Sean McDermotts . This is a huge day for the Corduff club and the Senior men hope to go one step further as a win would secure a place in the semifinal. So all roads lead to Gavin Duffy Park Monaghan on Sunday for a 1pm throw-in and we urge all the loyal Corduff supporters to be there to support the team and management . This is the curtain raiser to a double header with Donaghmoyne and Tyholland playing in the second match at 2:45 pm.

Ladies :

The Ladies’ Cllub would like to extend its gratitude to Sparkle Beauty proprietor Orla Marron  for once again sponsoring the club . This sponsorship is valued and appreciated by the club. New Hut: The Ladies’ Club would also like to extend its gratitude to the club’s hard working Chairman Dermot Hand who organised a new hut for the club. This was a massive job as Dermot sourced the hut and then spent days preparing the site in preparation for its arrival last Saturday. The hut will be used for equipment storage and maybe the odd cup of tea will be served there! Thanks also to Noel Hand, Mark Robinson, John Finlass and Michael Higgins who gave Dermot a hand. As they say many hands make light work!

Juveniles:

End Of Season Camp Out: Corduff Juveniles in conjunction with Corduff Ladies would like to invite you to a Camp Out as an end of season celebration on Saturday 22nd September. Gates open at 2pm and those camping can pitch tents from 2pm-4pm. Evening entertainment begins at 6pm with fun and games while the main event of the evening an open air cinema commences at 9pm.  Refreshments will be served plus breakfast in the morning.  This is a parent and child event with all registered  children and parents free,  for  additional family members to attend there is a fee of €5. You can book tickets this Saturday 15th September from 10am – 11:30am at training or on Sunday 16th at 6pm in the centre. Booking is important as ticket needed for entry on the day.
