Greenfield Foods SFC Clontibret 1-15 Castleblayney  1-13

It took extra time to separate the sides in Inniskeen on Saturday evening last and in the end it was a well taken goal by MP O’Dowd that made the difference. We now advance to the semi final on Sunday 23rd September when we meet the winners of Ballybay/Truagh

 

Shoe City SFL

With no championship involvement this week we meet Inniskeen in the league on Sunday at 12.30pm in O’Neill Park

 

Juveniles

U6 –  Training continues on Friday evening’s at 5.45pm. 

U7 –Training continues on Mondays at 6.30pm. The boys travelled to Scotstown for a Blitz last Saturday morning. They have showed great improvement from the start of the year. Keep up the good work. 

U9- Training this Saturday morning as per usual.

U11 – Training as normal Tuesday and Thursday. The boys travel to Emyvale this Saturday for the Brendan Colton Annual U11 Memorial Blitz. 

U13 – The Div 6 team lost out to stronger Truagh side in their final last Saturday. The team started brightly and were a point up after 15 minutes, however, some quick scores in succession by Truagh left them going in at half time leading by 3-4 to 4 points. The boys kept fighting on the way to the final whistle but eventually succumbed to defeat on a score line of 7-9 to 3-4. The boys can be proud of their achievements this year. Thanks to players and management for their dedication throughout the year.    

U17 – The team continues their good form over the last two games with wins against Truagh and Cremartin in the league. Their attention now turns to Championship  when they play Cremartin this Sunday in the semi final at 11am in Cremartin. Please come out and support the boys against our local neighbours. 

Development Draw 2018

Many thanks to all who contributed to the success of the Development Draw which concluded with Barry Boylan winning the two All-Ireland Football final tickets. Well done to all the sellers who worked hard to make it a success.
