JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP: A goal in either half was essentially the deciding factor in our win over Kileevan in Blayney last Friday night when we won out on a score line of 2-10 to 0-8. A first semi appearance since 2013 was the prize for our third championship win in a row. We face many pundits favourites for the championship Emyvale next Sunday at 4pm in Scotstown. We Wish players & management well as we attempt to make our first junior final appearance appearance since 1998. We ask all in the community to travel and get behind the team. Thanks to Louise who provided hot food for team and supporters after the game Friday night.
U-17 Championship: The Clan N.a. Gael 17s play Emyvale in Toome in the semi final at 11 on Sunday morning.
U-11s: entertained a very strong Dromintee team last Wednesday night. Our 8 team tournament takes place On Sunday 23rd featuring teams from Monaghan & Armagh. Help needed on the day and a meeting to organise takes place On Thursday night at 9
COFFEE MORNING: As part of our weekend events to commerote our former president Tom Mc Bride we host a coffee morning after mass on Sunday 23rd of September. The event will give visitors & locals an opportunity to view our hall and recieve refreshments after mass. Anyone willing to help or bake for the event contact any committee member.
MUSIC: Saturday 22nd we host Tomas Maguire & Fiona Ennis in the club with music from 10. The night provides musical entertainment for the many people who will visit the parish for Tom's monument unveiling on the 23rd.
ASTRO GAA BLITZ: The Our Ladys gaelic blitz takes place On the 29th September targeting 5th & 6th class boys. The blitz is from 10-12 on Saturday.
