Kieran Hughes is a notable omission from the Monaghan team for tomorrow's All-Ireland SFC qualifier tie away to Waterford.

The Scotstown clubman has reportedly been ruled out of the Dungarvan clash after picking up a knock in training recently.

There are two changes from the dramatic Ulster semi-final defeat to Fermanagh with Dermot Malone and Conor McCarthy starting instead of Hughes and Dessie Ward.

Monaghan (All-Ireland SFC v Waterford): Rory Beggan; Kieran Duffy, Drew Wylie, Ryan Wylie; Dessie Mone, Vinny Corey, Karl O'Connell; Niall Kearns, Darren Hughes; Ryan McAnespie, Dermot Malone, Fintan Kelly; Conor McCarthy, Jack McCarron, Conor McManus.

Subs: Conor Forde, Conor Boyle, Barry Kerr, Colin Walshe, Neil McAdam, Paudie McKenna, Dessie Ward, Owen Duffy, Thomas Kerr, David Garland, Shane Carey.
