Eurotech Junior Football League -   Drumhowan 2-13 Aghabog 4-8

Drumhowan took on Aghabog away in  Round 10 of the Eurotech Junior Football League last Saturday the 16th of June. Drumhowan started brightly  with a goal from Aidan Duffy.  However Aghabog responded quickly with a goal of their own.  Further points from Aidan Duffy and Kieran Mooney left  2 points in it after 15 minutes. Drumhowan then had their best period of the game scoring 1-5 to Aghabog's solitary point with another goal coming from Aidan Duffy. This left the half time score Drumhowan 2-8 Aghabog 1-3..Aghabog opened the 3rd quarter well scoring 1-3 before  Ciaran Duffy  got one point  back. With 5 minutes left Aghabog scored a goal to leave only a point in it.  Drumhowan then kicked 2 points to leave a goal in it going into the last minute.  However Aghabog finished strongly with 1-1 to take the lead for the first time and try as they may Drumhowan couldn't score to equalise. This therefore means Drumhowan must beat Rockcorry (this game took place last night Wednesday  the 20th of June) and Oram to secure a place in the Cup section of the league. Team: Enda Duffy, Darren Duffy, Owen Quinn, Mickey Atkinson, Aiden Quinn, David Millar, Niall Mooney, Kieran Mc Elroy, Anthony Mulligan, Kevin Mooney, Liam Mc Guirk, Ciaran Duffy, Mark Mc Cabe, Aidan Duffy, Kieran Mooney Subs - Paddy Mulligan for  Mickey Atkinson, Niall Duffy for Anthony Mulligan (BC)

Ballybay opened  the 2nd half brightly scoring a goal and a few points but Drumhowan replied  with a goal of their own from Kieran Mooney to leave not much in.
