Reserves: The Reserves played a number of games recently in the league. Last Saturday they played out a draw against Emyvale on a scoreline of 1-08 to 1-08 in a game which could have went either way. Aughnamullen started slowly and were playing catch up during the first half with scores hard to come by and Emyvale ran into a 4 point lead gradually the boys came back into it with a number of fine scores by Damien Duffy, Patrick Sheridan & Ciaran Conlon to leave the half time score 1-03 to 0-04 in favour of the hosts.  In the second half scores were traded evenly among the 2 sides with our scores coming from Damien Duffy(3) & Patrick Sheridan  and entering the final few minutes they still trailed by 2 points when a long ball into the Emyvale square resulted in a penalty for Aughnamullen and up stepped Lee Conlan who stroked the ball perfectly past the Emyvale keeper to leave us 1 point up but from the resulting kick out Emyvale came up the field and scored the equaliser. They played away to Monaghan Harps last night.  Check Social Media for result.

Goals by Ben Mc Cabe(3), Simon Geoghegan(2), Barry Duffy(1), & Cillian Traynor proved the difference to end up winners.
