Eurotech Junior League:
Corduff Junior team hosted Truagh on Saturday evening and Corduff made amends for their poor performance the previous week . Both sides were level in the 1st minute but from here on Corduff became more clinical and dominated throughout in what was a very one sided encounter. Corduff held Truagh scoreless from the 12th minute in the first half for a 30 minute spell. Corduff also had a scoreless spell of 20 minutes but with the youth and experience of the players including a father and son combination Corduff eased to victory having netted 3 times on a scoreline of 3-10 to 0-4 and therefore registering 2 valuable points on the league table. Corduff hosted visitors Clones last night with details to follow.
Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Leagues.
Corduff Intermediate team was in action last Sunday away to neighbours Donaghmoyne. Corduff put in a massive effort and dominated key stages of this match. It was however the hosts Donaghmpyne that got off to a dream start with a point from the throw-in followed by a second one. From here on Corduff dominated play and could do no wrong as they scored 1-04 without reply. Donaghmoyne took control again and added to their tally before the interval. Another Corduff goal left them ahead 2-04 to 0-6 by half time.
The second half began as the first half one had with Donaghmoyne looking sharper and within 7 minutes the sides were level for the second time as Donaghmoyne made a dramatic comeback. It was all to play for once again as the teams went level for a 3rd time on a scoreline of 2-08 to 0-14. Both teams were reduced to 14 men and with the clock ticking down it was a very exciting ending as Donaghmoyne scored the equaliser deep in injury time on a scoreline of Corduff 2-10 Donaghmoyne 0-16. Nest Intermediate match is on Sunday 22nd April at home to Toome with a 2 pm throw-in.

Results:
U14's: It was the turn of the U14's to open their league campaign on Monday evening last. And what a performance it was! Doohamlet simply had no answer to the Corduff ladies as they dominated all positions on the field. Their defending at one end and accuracy at the other end were brilliant. Doohamlet did come into the game in the second half and got on the scoreboard but it was too little too late as Corduff won on a scoreline of 7-11 to 1-02. The girls and management were all thrilled with their performance and this was a brilliant debut for both managers Barbara Ward and Sarah McEnaney.
