Dinner Dance: The Annual Dinner Dance is being held on this Friday night the  16th March in the Social Centre. Guests of honour are the 1978 Intermediate Championship Winning team, Senior, Reserve and Minor Player of the Year Awards and Hall of Fame Awards. Dinner will be served at 9pm sharp, Music by Adrian Wilson( Mr Music) and cost is €20 where people can pay at the door if they so wish. This is a night where we celebrate our present day  players and also our players of the past so a great night is anticipated.

 

Juvenile Presentation Awards: The Annual Juvenile Presentation will take place on this Monday the 19th of March at 4.30pm. This is to celebrate all our juvenile success from 2017 where county star Drew Wylie will be in attendance so come out and enjoy a good evenings entertainment.

 

Juvenile Training:  Training for our teams is due to commence shortly and the Juvenile Committee are calling on all parents to help to assist with the training on a Saturday morning to contact 0872679471 as soon as possible thank you.

 

Reserves: The Reserves played their first game away to Castleblayney on Saturday last however they were well beaten by a more economical Blayney side by 4-11 to 0-08. In the first half there was little between the sides with Blayney up 1-06 to 0-04.  In the second half a couple of goals killed the game off and Blayney ran out winners.

Minors: The Minors play their first game of the league next Monday the 19th of March away to Scotstown at 12.30pm.  Please note the game is in Kilmore this is the playing ground on the right hand side before you reach the village of Scotstown.  All support welcome.

 

Membership: Membership is now due.  The rates this year are Adult Non Player €30, Couple €55, Juvenile €15 (capped at €50 if more than 3 children in the family), Adult Footballer €100.  In relation to player membership any player who is not a paid up member is not covered by the GAA Injury fund or any other medical expenses

Congrats:  Congratulations is extended to Mark & Dervla Meegan Lattonfaskey on the birth of a baby girl recently. If she is anything like her father she is definitely a future ladies player for the club.

 

Well Done: Well Done to Joel Wilson & the County Under 17 squad who had a good win over Armagh on Saturday last they play Cavan in Inniskeen this Friday night.  Also to Jason Duffy & Sean Hamill who were part of the Under 16 squad which defeated Fermanagh in the Buncrana Cup they play Tyrone next on the 24th of March
